Our customer needed to remodel a downstairs bathroom in her home that would be ADA compliant. She wanted her father-in-law to be able to have the comfort and safety of using an accommodating shower. Just like many homes in Sacramento, the bathrooms are not very large and do not have any handles for support. Also, they needed to get rid of the tub and install a curbless showerpan.
After getting a few quotes from contractors, our client and her father-in-law felt at ease going into contract with us, because we take every job with a special individual approach. Our company prides itself in giving our client full transparency of how the project will be done, and what the costs are, without any hidden surprises. After discussing all the main important requests by our clients, we went to work on creating a layout design for the bathroom and shower.
Upon the start of the project, we made sure that all material, fixtures, and grab bars were on site – in order to make the remodel process go smoothly. The hardest step of the project in this case was demolition of the concrete subfloor with a jack hammer in order to build the curb-less shower pan. For the shower pan we used a Schluter Kerdi Shower Pan System from Floor and Dรฉcor. And once the floor was in, we went on to install all the supports for the handlebar installation. Throughout the whole remodel process our team members made sure to always communicate with our clients to make sure that everything we installed was comfortable and exactly how and where they wanted it. It is always a pleasure to work with people who know exactly what kind of design they want. During this whole project, and any project we do, we always keep the area clean, safe, and protected โ we know and respect that our clients live in their homes. Our team of experts is the best at creating beautiful, fantastic remodels and leaving our clients satisfied!
