STARTING THE FIREPLACE REMODEL
A few weeks before the holidays a client reached out to us wanting just a consultation about a fireplace remodel. They bought an older home that currently did not have a fireplace installed. Soon our consultant came out to look at the scope of work that we were going to be working on. The client wanted to install an electric fireplace in the living room but to minimize the space that it will take away from the room. Afterwards, our designer went on to create a rough draft of the best option available for the fireplace remodel.
The new homeowners came across our company on google. After an easy phone conversation we scheduled a time for a free in-home consultation. We have been doing fireplace remodels and such work for many years and have lots of experience. Knowing this the clients felt comfortable. And wanted to proceed and hire our experts to transform their living room into a cozy living space.
FINISHING THE FIREPLACE REMODEL
As soon as we were able to create a rough design for our clients we went out to the home and got to work. The living room wall was completely empty, and we wanted to create a minimalistic yet comfy wall with a fireplace. First we added a thin electric fireplace with logs and natural flames to the wall. Installation consisted of cutting the wall and building a frame inside the wall. Then prepping the electricity outlet for easy installation of the fireplace remodel. And we added a custom natural oak mantle over the fireplace and floating shelves on both sides of the wall to give the room a bigger look and also for decorating purposes. Lastly to complete the room design we chose Marble Glacier white stacked stone from Floor & Décor for the fireplace surround going up to the ceiling.
